Community Clean-Up Program

Help us fight blight in your neighborhood. Join our efforts to clean-up Jacksonville one neighborhood at a time. This program is designed to gather citizens from all over to come together in a selected community each quarter. We put boots on the ground and spend hours picking up trash, clearing yard debris, and processing recyclables. Community Gardens Initiative

Empowerment Academy, Inc. knows the importance of food security. Too many of our communities in Duval County are considered food deserts. At EA, we believe that healthy and affordable food options should not be a privilege, but a right. That is why we started our Community Gardens initiative. Through this program, we help communities by providing seeds and soil for those wishing to start their own personal or community garden. If you have space in a community you would like to convert to a garden or you need help creating your personal garden, please reach out to our agency.
